Brief description of the research:

We are investigating the effect of hypoxia on the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. We are particularly interested in the role of the HIF/PHD pathway in microglia, the brain innate immune cells, and endothelial cells. We use genetically modified mice combined with histology, behaviour, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
